I can (well I don't) play candy crush. Other then that if you really are going to do something productive just get a surface or a chromebook. I have never seen the place for Ipads. If they were more versatile they yeah but I hate touch screen for precious things

I like to play games besides Candy Crush and Clash of Clans, so no. An iPad Pro wouldn't work for me.

If the Ipad Pro used a real operating system like for example the Surface Pro it could possibly replace a PC on day to day usage (no gaming).

But since it's just an iPad with a keyboard it's a stupid concept

Why would a business spend 1000$ on a bad keyboard and gimped versions of software, plus no multitasking and incredibly limited connectivity? There are plenty of ultrabooks that would do the job much better for a lower price if you need it for office work.

The normal iPad is a PC replacement for me for essentially all work. Ironically the iPad Pro is too big to do what I use my iPad 4 for "professional" tasks (things such as a monitor, or a teleprompter).

 

Most of my professional work involves reading and signing things and talking to people. And the iPad 4 does that just fine.

For my professional work that does requires a computer - it's desktop all the way. Laptop or tablet could never replace it, am too specialist.

 

I've never liked the laptop form factor, it's the ultimate uncarriable device - it can't fit in an airplane seat pocket, you can't move it around comfortably in bed and you can't use it how you want to. So I use my iPad for essentially all consumption and a good amount of creation, where anything serious is relegated to my desktop.

I am a real estate agent.   Here is what I need.   

 

Ultra Portability.  

Touch Screen.  

Works with Docusign

Cellular connectivity

Basic Office use.  

MLS integration.

Works with various other Applications I need.  

 

No Ultrabook on the market hits all these points.  An ipad Pro does.  I currently use an Air 2.  Doubt I will upgrade.  However that doesn't mean that the Pro isn't great for what I need.

No of course not... It lacks the screen real estate, the multi tasking capabilities, gaming capabilities, too small, just low power in general, cannot be upgraded so it's outdated within a year...

If all I did was use facebook and play some terrible mobile game like candy crush, sure, but I do a LOT more than that.
