Forum Feature Suggestion Thread

So I've been a lot more active here lately, and I've come up with a few good ideas for new forum features. I'm curious to see what other people of this community have to say in regards both to my idea and to new suggestions as well. I hope staff also notice this and maybe take heed to some of these, if they are deemed worthy of the site :D

 

My idea is the ability to close a thread that you have started, or be able to flag a post on your own thread and have it immediately brought to a moderator's attention. That way you sort of have the ability to moderate your own threads.

 

What do you guys think?
