Do i need a soundcard?

I read FAQ but i still have some questions.

I'm using sennheiser hd 201 headset and ALC888 onboard audio. I don't have budget yet and i saw some great reviews about asus xonar dg/dgx.

You don't really ever "need" one it is more of if you want one

with hd 201 you would see very small difference in quality, but xonar dg is advisable for virtual surround

You dont NEED one but something cheap like xonar dg or dgx would improve the quality of your audio (slightly)

Soundcards are a luxury, if you can afford one and you want one you can go for it. You don't need one.

take the money you would spend on a sound card, and buy better headphones first.

Better headphones first, then skip the soundcard and go straight for something external if you need it.
