sick of lap tops for wife

Ive bought a new laptop for my wife for the past 2 years in a row Im finaly sick of it so im gonna build her a computer and have a shity lap top for when we need to go some where.  So my question is can i use one of my windows on new computer or I'm i stuck buying windows.  I would much rather spend that money on a new ssd for new system and take my small older ssd in spare lap top.  I know im grasping at straws but trying to save money spent so much on those other laptops hate to get nothing out of them.

If you absolutely need a cheap key, you can usually get one on Reddit/G2A for a lot less than retail

If there's a key on the body of the laptop (in the form of a sticker), you can use that. If not, just buy a 25 USD key from G2A or SoftwareSwap.

New Windows License is like $20 on Reddit/MicrosofSoftwareSwap or in G2A.

 

But, yes. You can use the license from the laptop.

Laptop Windows' are OEM keys. They can't be used on desktop hardware.

Or you could not illegally obtain software and pay for it like most others.

That's what I did with my old PC. I've never paid for Windows because of that key. It's worth a try anyway.
