Hi guys can anyone explain why my Gpu dont wanna thermal throttle? Its a geforce gtx 650m and since my fan died it thinks 80 degrees celsius is okay to have when watching 2 video´s at once and 93 when under load. I even have it on (broke) cooler so it does not strangle itself in my lap or blanket

Why are you complaining about it not thermal throttling? I would take that as a blessing m8... forreal though fix the fan before you legs catches on fire.

Is it not possible to just make it thermal throttle? I dont wanna spend the extra money on the fans and time to switch it out since im getting a desktop before the year ends.

Buy a notebook cooler, it's cheap and it will do the job.

In MSI Afterburner there is a setting where you can turn on and off thermal throttling and set it to what degrees you want it to start thermal throttling. You might want to try using a case fan and zip tieing it to the heatsink of the GPU. It may look ghetto but it will perform better and that's what's important

can you reccomend any?

I'm currently on a 256K connection so I can't tell you exactly what, but really any cooler. I have a Hama and an Intex cooler and they do the job right
