iPad Pro problems, will apple give me a replacement?

I have 2 major issues with my iPad Pro

1) Discolouration of the back: white patches have begun appearing on the back of the iPad Pro. I have the space grey model and i have been very gentle on it, so these are no scratches as there are no streaks or lines. These marks wont go away from everything i have tried

2) Screen brightness problems: one the left/top of the screen (the side where the front camera is), the screen is much darker in that area and there is some sort of banding going on where the edge seems to fade, this is not the case with the other parts of the screen

I have not dropped this iPad once, so will apple replace under warranty?

UPDATE:

Went to Apple Store today as I had hospital appointment in Birmingham. `Talked to one of the guys and showed him pictures. He happily told me that they can give me a free replacement under warranty if I book an appointment at the Genius Bar

Ask them.

 

 

And try to get a refund instead.

How old is the IPad? if under a year, I believe you can RMA it.

Its a pro it hasnt been out for a year

i bought it from another seller (from eBay). I got it only a month ago

Apple is usually pretty good about these sorts of things, I would just go to your local Apple store and complain (nicely) and ask to see a manager if they're uncooperative.

Oh. Well that complicates things a bit. If it was a valid reseller, then you can still likely be able to get it replaced under warranty.

Checked on their website, phone support doesnt end until March and my warranty doesnt end until December 2016

apple tends to be pretty good about replacing/refunding broken stuff, but the ebay thing complicates it a bit. Definitely try to get a genius bar appointment, a real person might be more understanding than someone in chat or on the phone.
