8 sticks of ram on 4 channels Chip

Brace

So I'm planning to use 32 gb of ram in my system and I want to fill all 8 slots in my X99 asus deluxe board but my 5820k is only 4 channeled. So will i still get all 32gb of ram (8x4gb) or since its only 4 channels will i only effectively being get 16gb of ram. Any help would be great thanks.

You can use all 8 dimm slots. Quad channel supports up to 8 sticks.

No, the number of memory channels is not the number of physical memory sticks. There are two sticks on each channel, so you can use all 8 slots in quad-channel configuration.
