Might also throw in a few other blocks, like RAM, Motherboard and PCI SSD (just because I can).

 

The plan is to overclock as far as the parts can handle.

 

I know this is above the recommended radiator space, but I always felt that it is meant for more noisy and powerful fans.

single fan sets will be sufficient. push pull is way over-the-top and useless.

those fans cannot accept a sandwich style mounting unless you use a spacer

or the fan will jamb against the radiator on pull.

Of course you can get away with that few fans. If you go with the B12-2 model. Daniel Cannon of Singularity Computers commonly uses the NB-BlackSilentPro PL-2s on some beefy rads and the temps are still as excellent.

I'm not that familiar enough with Blacknoise fans as I have not personally owned them myself. Those 1-2mm things I guess are the nuts to secure the fans to the case for case fans. Correct me if I'm wrong.

As in that temps are reasonably low (Mid 50s to low 60s) under full load on the CPU. GPUs tend to be lower as the die is exposed and not under an IHS. How is this possible with quiet acoustics? Well what you have in radiators is the answer

Well the TH10A Can hold two pairs of 480mm rads, but with the amount you have already in terms of cooling capacity (We're talking 6,000 watts of cooling capacity that Hardware Labs quotes) won't make a difference at this point. So you have way more than enough. Even in the future when I start watercooling I am going to end up having a total of 10 x 120mm worth of radiator, so that is enough for maximum cooling and low acoustic output.

Yeah forgot about the conditions which can affect the overall capacity. Daniel Cannon benchmarks his clients' systems by mathematically adjusting the ambient room temperature to 20C. Best way is to measure your ambient temperature and roughly guessing what's the capacity of your rads. But it's overkill and some of us are into that

Best way is to measure your ambient temperature and roughly guessing what's the capacity of your rads. But it's overkill and some of us are into that

I do have an overkill build atm, 4x 480mm, but they are old EK once.

Only reason I'm going with 3x 480mm, is because I need space for pumps (they are in front atm, which is a pain to deal with).

Going from single loop to dual loop doesn't affect performance, but makes your system that much more badass. Also with radiator mounting you can mount the 480mm rads to the top and bottom of the case and afford the front for pumps. Or you can drill some holes on to the motherboard back (not the tray itself duh) and mount the reservoirs there with either UN Mounts or the Singularity Computers Ethereal Dual reservoir mounts that you can buy from here. Do note that prices are in AUD.

My system is dual loop atm, but I will switch to single loop.

Since renders dont max GPUs and games dont max CPU (most of the time), so should that allow for better cooling overall.

 

The problem with the pumps, is that they are on top of a radiator atm, meaning they are above the bottom of the reservoir. Hence why I'm removing the front bottom 480mm, to allow those pumps to get further down.
