The heatskink and fans are bigger on the U14S which means it gives better performance at lower noise.

So it's worth an extra £2? I will be using it in this build

I asked on a different forum and someone said i would need to get a different case beause this one wont be big enough so i think i will just get the u12s

It won't fit that case, you're right. A Noctua L12 is another option as well.
