1 fury x or 2 390x

Bajantechnician

Fury Nano? On the plus side they've just reduced the price and it's still a fully fledged Fiji chip.

Two 390X's are much faster than a single Fury X. Don't lose money by, in this case, downgrading.

might just keep 390x and use g10 and kraken x41s on them

I would go for the Nano and then custom water cool it.

Oh... I thought you were looking to get the 390Xs... No, keep the 390x XFire. Wait until Polaris & Arctic Islands.

It's better to go for the Fury X then since the limiting factor will be power delivery. Unless of course, he wants power savings since his 9590 already consumes 250W+ of power.

If Benchmarks exist why do you post questions like this, you know better.

Because, some bechmarks may test only part of he gu. I wanna know if its a good idea to whitch or keep as a whole

performance wize, do i?

Honestly, wait for a 980ti. It obliterates a Fury X when overclocked. I've got a 1080p monitor and getting a 980ti.

The Fury X is a monster, the 980ti is Godzilla. That's why I wouldn't own a Fury X.

no, trade dual 390x for furyx or no?

Too subjective. No solid answer. The trade IS a good deal. More than you would get in value if you sold the 390x's. So in the context of the trade, it's a good deal.

I guess if you get the Fury X and decide to sell it to get something else cough *980ti* cough. Then it would be easier to sell the Fury X than two 390x's

Check out this video. The SLI 970 set up scores well in synthetic benchmarks but watch what happens when you move into games. I know a 970 is no 390x, but the issue with multiple GPUs would be similar. And is shows the powa of the 980ti.

Which is important, won't lie. But as long as you stay above 4g you have a good chance of not running into any issues. No one can say for sure but no developer is going to alienate a majority of the available customers, and most customers are using 2g and above. But it was a factor as to why I chose to step up to the 980ti and it's 6g.

If anyone asks you never saw me.

Dual 390x would be better IMO.
