Whats a better overclock for my 980Ti?

So I got my core to 1504 MHZ boost, but if I increase my memory by anything more than 40 3dmark will crash halfway through. 

 

When I lower that to 1450 MHZ I can get my memory up to +290 without crashing. Is it better to take the 50 MHZ hit or just keep the core at a higher speed.

Core. Memory is not really a bottleneck at the speeds we currently have available.

since you're running 3d mark you can look at the graphics score and see what's better the core or the memory

usually the core is better up to a certaint point

Try upping your voltage as that can help the memory controller as it has for me.

Try running valley or 3dmark and see what yields the best results

Try upping your voltage as that can help the memory controller as it has for me.

Its up as high as it will go already and my temps are really high already so I don't think thats a good idea.
