Because the fps just don't get high enough for me to play so 1080p works for me

With a budget of $6000, you are looking at a 6700k and 3x 980Tis. 3x 980Tis can run 3x 1440p panels. Also 1440p panels that are 60hz IPS 27 inches go for around $300

I like it all except the mouse. Built in acceleration is a no no. I would personally go towards a Mionix Castor, one of the highest quality mice that I have personally used. It supports all grips, you can grip the mouse even with sweaty hands, can change the DPI in the middle of the game and is RGB

Raptorcandy can I add third monitor to that build

Yes also use the @RaptorCandy to tag him or use the quote button. In games where 144FPS matters such as CS:GO 3x 980Tis will probably run 300FPS, even in games such as GTA V you are looking at a smooth 60+FPS experience.

OK so your saying that with 3x980ti I could plat ASAP title games at 144p and have 60 fps or higher when 60 fps is kinda low it self but it's doable

With these components and case this machine will sound like a leaf blower... he´d need a different case. I´ve had 3way SLI before with air cooling.... never again.

no way

on triple 1440p no

also if i were you i would get 3x  FuryX, CF scales much better than SLI with 3+ cards

No 3way scales very good. Doesn´t matter if nVidia or AMD. 3 and 4ways are epeen and benchmarking. The scaling goes down the drain with more than 2 cards. And also you need enough space for mounting 3 120mm single rads in a case. Usually the top is already occupied by the CPU cooler if it´s an AIO.

You asked how I would make a $6000 gaming build. Personally to save money you don't need  Dominator Platinum  and you don't need 64GBs of Ram. Heck even 32 is more then double what you truly need. Also you don't need a $600 motherboard, the one I have picked out or similarly priced ones will be fine.

Though I would change the case to a Phanteks Enthoo PRO  Full ATX case to allow for better airflow.

@DarkBlade2117 would u really go for 1440p I mean it seems to just be a little to much for the fps value

What games are you playing in general as of now. If you don't play it at least twice a week for like an hour each don't count it.

Your build is better. It would be nice if there were a motherboard with 2x M.2 slots for RAID 0 configuration with the 950 Pro's. You could get another monitor with the spare money or just leave it like it is. He could also get the Steelseries Rival 300 which is also a great gaming mouse specially when you play CS:GO.

Yeah just get a different case, I forgot about the mediocre airflow in the H440 and for 3-way ehh.

@DarkBlade2117 idk I think it's solid just new case but I mean is their anyway u could so triple 1440p with good fps because I have yet to see it and I'm sorry but it's just a little sketchy

yes, you will have trouble runing triple 1440p at 80FPS

there really isn't that much of a difference between 1080p and 1440p in gaming

4K yes, but 1440p, not really

4K yes, but 1440p, not really

1440p is a bit more "sharp" compared to 1080. There is a difference, compare a 27inch 1440p monitor to a 1080p 27 inch monitor. The difference is quite noticeable
