Hi,

So I can get 5 litre of Mayhems Red X1 for £21.95 or 2 litres for £16 questions is will I need more than 2litres and also how red is this coolant once it's in the tubing as i've had other coolant look less vibrant in the tubing. and is there any coolants that would be brighter when in the tubing? I'm looking for an msi gaming red sort of colour.

Thanks guys

Only pastel colors do that; don't hate just because Jay.

The amount you'd need depends on how many blocks, rads and how much tubing you're using. For the vast majority of systems, 2L will be more than enough to fill it. However, having spare coolant is never a bad thing, as you have the option to drain and refill the loop if you need to.

Mayhems X1 tends to stay very vibrant in tubing. Here's some pictures that I found. If it doesn't, you can always get a red dye and add a little to the mixture.

all coloured fluid changes colour if you leave it in a PC too long

this is why youre supposed to change it every 6 months - 1 year

mayhems dyes are the best, used by all the world's top watercoolers

singularitycomputers, snef, etc...

Its not even true! he used tygon tubing on his loop that changed colour and Pastel coolant says to never use that... I have been using pastel for years and have yet to ever have colour change/furring up.

Again, only Pastel fluids do this and only in certain circumstances. Don't say shit like Mayhems is bad when only a specific line of dyes in specific tubing actually does anything. Mayhems is generally actually the best dye out there short of colored tubing (but that's not dye)

I have had bad experiances with mayhem's pastel, I SUGGEST you use mayhem's dyes cause there is nothing wrong with it

at this point everyone should just cool their pc's with pepsi

I already know about the pastel issue because my sunset yellow pastel coolant went an orange brown colour.
