Hi,

I'm looking for some good recommendations for Red coolant, it's needs to be available in the UK. I have heard bad stuff about EK's Red Coolant but if you have experience please let me know if it is bad. The others I have seen are Mayhems X1 Red coolant and Aqua Computer Red Coolant and also XSPC Red coolant.

Any recommendations guys?

I have had previous experience with their coolant I was using their pastel yellow up until 4 weeks ago but jayz video changed my mind about it and I got it out of my loop before it clogged anything. But I hear the X1 is a less maintenance.

why would it clog anything?

the only thing i remember was that it changed colour because of some component in one of his loops that reacted with it

there are thousands of people who have been using mayhems coolants for years and they are perfectly happy

and yes the X1 is even better

He said he was concerned about his GPU blocks being clogged but in a later video he opened up one of the GPU blocks and it was perfectly clear the reason his gpu was getting quite hot was because of something else but I didn't want mine to go brown so I decided to change it before it got to that stage as mine did darken slightly.

There are also a shit load of people coming out with issues in their pastel line.

But that said, the mayhem dyes are the best overall and there is little indication that outside of pastels you need to worry about more than the standard dying of your parts.

@OP I'd personally recommend red tubing instead of coolant because you will get the same effect without needing to clean the shit out of everything you own when you change colors. And tubing is cheap.
