I am running on an msi bios, and I am looking to install Win10 on to an ssd. I also have a hard drive in the system, should I disconnect it? Also, should I put the DVD drive as my top boot priority to load win 10? If so, how do I choose the ssd as where it is installed to? All help is appreciated, thank you in advance.

yes you should always disconnect all drives other than the one you are installing on

you need to make your USB or optical drive the 1st boot priority to install windows from it
