Hello guys, like everyone out here my time to build my first gaming PC has come. So my question is what I should be prepared for, when building and etc. My components are:

Intel Core i7-6700K CPU

MSI Z170A Tomahawk Mobo

MSI GF GTX 960 4gb GPU

2x8gb 2400MHz RAM

be quiet! Dark Rock 3 Cooler

Corsair CX750M 80 PLUS Bronze PSU

Sharkoon VS4-W Case

BenQ GL2450H

Also I'm not sure if the cooler is compatible with the CPU/Mobo. I'm a little afraid to go with a liquid cooler....................yet. Maybe in the future I'll upgrade but for now I think I'm good with this. I went with the 16gb RAM because I want to record GTA V gameplay and upload it to youtube. Anyways I'm a huge LTT fan and I decided to ask at the forums. If you want to give me an advice of changing a component feel free to do it, just know that my budget is ~1500 Euro.

To much CPU not enough GPU

Get a i5-6500 ( which you can o'clock using BCLK to 4.3-4.5GHz )

Then try getting an AMD R9 380X or maybe a 390

Also get a EVGA 750W B2 PSU

Thanks for the tips I'll totally change the PSU but I want to ask about 'OC'. I thought that only unlocked CPUs can be overclocked.I'm not into this overclocking stuff. But about the GPU I mean like come on man as a nvidia fanboi what should I do? And also will the PSU be enough watts to power everything?

Stop being a fanboy and get the 390(or just waste your money). How can you be a fanboy but this is your first pc build? Come on man. The EVGA 750 B2 will be more than enough.

Personally, I would suggest upgrading to the 970. I have that in my build with a i5-4460 And I run GTA V at 60 FPS Ultra @ 1080p. If you get the processor you are saying you will, you will have no problems making YouTube videos or possibly streaming in the future.

The 390 is a good deal better choice over the 970, it has higher performance in general, potentially better DX12/Vulkan support, and free-sync is going to save you money compared to G-sync, in addition, nvidia seems to hate freedom, the performance gap grows more with resolution

I've had Radeon only once and I'm not into knowing their drivers and etc. For example does Radeon has a feature like Shadowplay on Nvidia because that's the only reason I want to buy a Nvidia. And also to this awsum dude that took the time to select the components for my budget isn't it going be hard to build in a mini ATX case for a first build? But really thanks for the tips appreciate it.
