BF4 still active?

I want a "new" FPS game since I'm still playing BF3 and I got bored now (even though it's still my favorite FPS) and BF4 as far as bugs and glitches go should be fixed by now but I'm a bit worried that there aren't a lot of players left.

There's plenty of players, but the servers are all very much the same. Most only play a single map, and the vast majority of the game modes are some form of conquest.

Yeah I know Hardline failed badly, that's why I didn't even consider it.

plenty of players, and the issues are long gone (from what I've experienced anyway) it's a great game and I now prefer it over BF3 as my main account has been banned on punkbuster enabled servers because of "interfering with punkbuster software" LOL. *cries inside*

yup, what pisses me off is that I NEVER interfered with any punkbuster or BF3 related software.... Punkbuster is useless as hell anyway...

Battlefield 4 is still full of players! I bought it last month and there are loads of servers; lots of 24/7 servers. Gotta love the Conquest (Large) and TDM - there's plenty of those game modes.

I still play it regularly and have no issues with not having enough players

I regret buying BF4, after about 60h of gameplay I started to play BF3 again. And now since project venice unleashed is ramping up I would stick to BF3.

So... I bought the premium edition for €19.96.

 

I started the download on my HTPC I hope it has a somewhat decent controller support since or at least that Origin has a backup function like Steam since I don't want to download 24GB on my desktop too since I'm on a 6mbps connection.

BF4 is better than BF3 in basically every way.

 

There are very few gamebreakiing bugs or glitches anymore, it's very refined

BF3 is like playing a game on a 60hz monitor, BF4 is like playing a game on a 144hz monitor.

 

60hz doesn't feel slow until you've gone to 144hz and back

Thats because the characters move 13% (or thereabouts) faster.

 

The game itself has slower response time, but the characters physically move faster

I think I played about 20 minutes of BF4 before I realised it wasn't all that fun and didn't feel all that obliged to play since it came free with my GPU. I should probably give it another go but I'm running low on hard drive space lately.
