whenever I leave home, the internet stops working

Crailz

so.. i have an old linksys router (wrt54gl to be exact)

i now use it in parallel with my new ONT that came with my new internet service

but that doesnt matter

whenever I leave home.. or everyone leaves the house, the internet stops working.

and when I say "I leave home", I am talking about my phone.

often my mom calls me like 5 minutes after leaving saying that the internet stopped working..

or.. when i leave to school, internet works

when i come home, internet doesn't work (ethernet OR wireless)

and this happens all the time. it's like my phone is connected in some sort of weird way with the router..

what may be the problem?

and, it's only MY phone that causes this. whenever I leave home, there's an iPad permanently connected to the wireless, my dad's laptop which is either on Wi-Fi or ethernet, the TV which is via WiFi and my PC that is via ethernet.

Are you not paying your internet bill and your phone has a hotspot on it? So everyone on the wireless is actually using the internet through your phone?

You are the chosen one, holder of wifi, bringer of peace and true heir to the throne.

Use your power wisely.

Or that.
