MSI Afterburner "Power"

I feel like this is a stupid question, but what is the "Power" statistic in MSI Afterburner for (It's given as a percentage).

Is it the percentage of maximum power drawn from your PSU?

 

Also, what does the VID stand for?

But the power limit slider determines how much power the GPU is allowed to draw as a percentage of the GPU's power limit. I'm pretty sure that's the "Power Limit" stat.

yes, so if you put the slider to 113%, the graph will be able to go up to 113% instead of 100% power usage

Yes, but that doesn't answer my original question. That was asking what a completely different stat was for. You are talking about "Power Limit", I was asking about "Power".

power = power usage

power limit = max power usage
