Psu calculators can give a decent idea of how much power your system may need but they aren't always reliable. I'd suggest sticking to power draw benchmarks instead. The graphics card is a good place to base total system power draw on since that's usually the most power hungry.

It might help to list your specs.

i generally like to use the one on pcpartpicker, although i'm not too sure about its accuracy either. once i pick up a second wattmeter i'll do some testing on that.
