I am wanting to upgrade my GPU soon and I was thinking of getting a 980 TI but I also have heard that PAscal will be a huge jump in performance. I am currently playing games at 1080P and have no real interest in upgrading to a higher resolution yet. So at 1080P do you think it would be better to get a 980 TI or wait for Pascal?

What resolution do you want to play at?  Are you willing to wait until Q4 2016?

Edit:  Nevermind.  $ave dat money and get yourself a R9 390.

what GPU do you currently have? If it's at least 950 level you can probably wait it out.

If you are going to wait. Then you might as well wait forever, because there is sadly always something better at the horizon. And if you really are just playing at 1920x1080, then even a single 980ti will be way overkill.

But if that is what you want to get. Then get it now, and if you really want to get the next generation when it comes, then sell your current card and buy the new one.
