I want a faster boot time, and this is my only option, I have an SSD and i want to take advantage of it, so what does MSI's Fast Boot feature do? I dont want to skip BIOS entirely just incase. Thanks!

I use fast boot and when I want to go into the bios I shut my pc off, unplug my HDD, then start it back up again to go into the BIOS.

its so cheap i know.

Wait sooo. You haven't told me what it does. Does it skip BIOS or what.

You can't access the BIOS, it goes to Windows right away.

If you want to go to the BIOS, you need to go to Settings in Windows and reboot to the BIOS (or just unplug your boot drive)

How do you do it in Windows? Thanks btw.

Go to PC Settings, advanced, settings, and some other advanced branch, and click Restart into UEFI.

MSI also has an APP, that can reboot into the bios too.

Keep in mind, not everyone is using W10 and providing another solution could be vital.

MSI also has an APP Utility, that can reboot into the bios too, from W7 + W8.1, probably W10 as well.

My board has the option to hold the power button for 4 seconds when the computer is off to go directly to the BIOS configuration.
