Anyone here use NZXT's CAM software? They released a new version. It's still bloated as hell and for some reason it keeps sending and receiving on my ethernet at up to 48kb/s for no apparent reason. How hard is it to write an efficient hardware monitor that doesn't take up 104mb of ram to do absolutely nothing? I'd rather they re-skin HWMonitor at this point and be done with it. Even on idle the silly thing is using the highest cpu usage.

I can deal with higher than normal ram and cpu usage. I have plenty of ram to spare. However the constant sending and receiving on the network from the software is worrying to say the least and I have no idea what it's doing to even warrant that kind of level of network activity.

BTW, the minute you logout of the software and use the guest account it stops the constant sending and receiving. What a piece of crap.

I don't see how 48kb/s up and down is bad. I believe why is does that is to send your stats to other computers/devices that may have CAM on them and receiving other stats from other computers that have CAM as well.
