Funny story, I had to do multiple facepalms about an hour ago when one of my console friends told me that it would have an x86 processor: "it's sooooo powerfull" theen I told him about x64 processors, and dedicated graphics instead of APU's - LOL

I just can't believe that they announced a console that they haven't even come up with a design for. The fact that they didn't even make renders of the thing means that this event was just to boost stock prices and shift focus toward Sony before the next Xbox is announced. It's just silly that a product was announced and you can't even see it.
i think they have the console prepared its just that E3 is on the way so they saved the best for last

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

I think that pc is always going to be better.
And it will, if Sony or Microsoft PC grade consoles it would cost WAY too much.

My friends on Facebook have been arguing how much better the PS4 is than PC. I threw in Linus's video on Xbox vs PC BF3 to stir up the pot The first response was "He didn't install the xbox texture pack, if he used a better TV the xbox would look better"

*facepalm*

Some of them are hopeless unfortunately.

hehehe, 2 words, Jaguar Cores.

The Cell from the PS3 at max theoretical potential is almost as good as this.

If you have a total of 8gb of ram, why GDDR5? why not 3 or 4 GB of GDDR5 for video and 4 or 5GB of DDR3 for system ram? Its useless, unless they are using the APU part of it I guess. I can see the use of a unified RAM system when you only have 512mb, like in the 360, but when you have this much memory.

Its almost odd why they would go with 8gb of ram anyway, if you think about it. The 360 had 512mb when most computers back in 2005 had 2gb or even sometimes 4gb of ram. Shouldn't they be using like 4gb of ram? What games use 8gb of ram, let alone 4?

Old shit no one cares about but me.

its so in the future it doesnt lack performance like the ps3 which takes about 5 minutes to deleted a message/friend

Well if you want it to not lack performance in the future, why Jaguar cores? the chips the AMD put out to compete with Atom? Its a horrible decision.

Old shit no one cares about but me.

I love my PS3 and Xbox 360 in addition to my PC.

They can't replace a good PC. But PC can't bring you the fun of playing an offline co-op game, ...

And I just like the idea of buying something that says "This play play EVERY PS3 title you buy", with a PC you have to check for compatibility, driver problems, screen tearing, small(er) screens, ...

Proud to be from Belgium.
