How high can you overclock a GPU

How high can you overclock a GPU? whats the highest clock speeds possible from graphics cards?

It depends on the chip that you get. Each card is different and each overclock is different.

I once took a GTX 480 to 1600MHz on liquid helium, but I guess that is not what you are going to be doing.

With a normal cooling solution you can expect maybe 5-10% more performance with overvoltage. With overvoltage you can get maybe 20-30%. it all comes down to the silicoen lottery though

Depends on the chip, power delivery and whether is is being cooled with air, water or liquid nitrogen.

Also, Nvidia cards are mostly voltage locked, which also limits the overclock. The top end MSI lightning cards seem to get around this without Nvidia going mad...

yes thats what happens when you get cherry picked cards. i would want one too
