CPU Upgrade on Windows 10

Shadow Gamer

I want to add a new CPU, but on the same motherboard, to my friends computer, but since Windows 10 has some problems with hardware configuration I was wondering if I would have to reinstall or reactivate my license. I'm just upgrading from a G3258 to a i3-4170.

No, you shouldn't need to reinstall Windows.

But a re-activation might be possible.
