a 6150 is so low end it was placed onboard on some motherboards.

9800GT is better by miles.

A 6150 LE is shit. 

 

The 6100 series is integrated video on motherboards, there were no cards for those GPUs, The 9800 is about 4 years newer and is a high end card from the time.

 

There is no contest.

 

If he has a 6150LE, make sure he has PCIe on his board and make sure his PSU can handle a 9800gt, those things suck power.

No, there was a GeForce 6 series before the 600 series. Those cards are from 2004 and have a 4 digit numbering system. I had a 6600 256mb card from back then. then there was the 7,8,9, 200, 400, 500, 600, and now 700 series.
