Look i dunno where to post, but I really need help with my overall experience with Windows 10.

My Windows 10 has been ok so far, but if I ever leave it idle for more than say, 10 minutes, it suddenly becomes unresponsive when i decide to use it again. Even a simple task like right clicking requires a full 2 to 5 minutes to become responsive again.

Worst of all, whenever I have my Steam client to download games, the downloads stop as well. Sometimes they even corrupt the downloading (which is what happened a few minutes ago) and i had to start again.

Any solutions? Thanks.

You might want to tell us specs :P

I get that Steam error quite frequently and have been unable to find a fix.

Could be a clocking issue perhaps? Doubt it though..

It's not just Steam though. If I'm active throughout the downloading process, the downloads continue fine, but the moment I leave my PC behind it goes into this state of slowing down, like it's reserving power or something.

go to power management, then more options or whatever it is in your system language, and then look at the "resting state" (it might be called something else) also your hdd, put it so that it doesent go to power saving mode or sleep mode, EVER . i used to get blue screens but now when i turned those off everything has worked fine.

in hdd, "time(minutes) when power is shut off from hdd when not used"  put that to 0 , make sure to do that. that fixed my blue screens and problems
