Motherboard Painting

Go to solution Solved by bloomkail,

Thank you both I found shops which sells painters tape and plasti dip.

I knew about that video but he didn't paint the heatsink so I searched on the web and found where I could get thermal pads and that plasti dip also works on metal (heatsink).

Happy :)

Hello,

First of all I'm french so please apologize my mistakes.

I'm planning on painting the Asrock Z97 Extreme6 motherboard.

I will receive it next week.

I thought painting the heatsinks (vrm + chipset) and two ram slots (the blue ones) in RED.

I choose this motherboard for all it's features intead of the fatal1ty professional one because the fatal1ty is a bad family talking about benchmarks etc..

The thing is, I dont know what I need : - Which thermal paste ?

                                                             - Which spray not to make heatsinks overheating ?

                                                             - What to use to protect the "Asrock" and "Z97" in Silver ?

                                                             - What to use to protect the componments while painting the ram slots ?

Thank you !  ;)
