Absolute best for gaming? Probably an overclocked 8350 or overclocked 4770k with HT disabled.

If you are going to spend $2000+ on PC components, why not go multiple graphics cards and LGA2011?  :D You want the best you can get for that amount of money, don't you?

I'll make a list for you in a minute.

Wait. A 4770k without hyperthreading is pretty much a 4670k

But higher binned and better.

4770k with HT disabled makes no d***ed sense, if you're going to do what why not just buy an i5. Seriously of all the things I've ever heard on this subject that by far is the most asinine.

Oh well i don't  know how to overclock ;_;  so i i would rather not overclock and just find the best one that doesn't need overclocking and out runs most.

Really?

An i5 is really a lower binned i7 with HT disabled and an i3 is an even lower binned but with HT enabled if I remember correctly (correct me if I'm wrong someone).

What he said^

Hyperthreading is simply using the physical core differently. Since games don't really take advantage of HT, disabling it allows the single core to maximize the performance of the thread.

It's higher binned. I'm simply pointing to the best cpu because that's what the OP asked for.

You should be overclocking.

It's a different socket altogether. Haswell is 1150 and the 8350 is AM3+.

So it's better that i go with the h100I and not a fan cooler if i overclocking..

Performance-wise yes. For gaming, a h100i isn't exactly value friendly.

Fyi, you need to quote  a post or else the person won't get a notification you replied to them.

The Noctua NH-D14 is a good air cooler for overclocking imo. Just make sure that your ram, motherboard, and case has enough clearance.

Get a 8350 and a 7990 and you could save a few bucks for more performance
