What does 'brick' mean?

Go to solution Solved by Mo5,

bricking a device means you're rendering it useless because the firmware got corrupt in some way or another

Render useless/inoperable.

E.g. wont boot up at all.

“Bricking” essentially means a device has turned into a brick. It may be an electronic device worth hundreds of dollars, but it’s now as useful as a brick (or perhaps a paperweight). A bricked device won’t power on and function normally.

Bricked device is useless like a brick. Bricking can be done by messing up very basic software on your device, for example failure during root on phones or installing incompatible version of BIOS that will cause brick. In most cases, it's possible to unbrick a device but sometimes it's just broken.

I need S340. But more Define S'ish
