Rosewill RCX-Z1 cpu cooler

aSpoink

Is the Rosewill RCX-Z1 a decent cpu cooler? My specs are in my sig. I cant find much online as far as reviews for it go, so I was hoping someone on here has had some experience with it. If its not a good cooler, please suggest me a cooler for $20CAD. Thanks in advance.

I doubt it is any better than the stock cooler of your cpu so it's wasting your money for nothing. If you really need an aftermarket cooler, get the CM Hyper T4.

I dont think that will fit in the Corsair Air 240.

No, I'm using the stock AMD cooler and I find my cpu gets too hot while gaming.

What are your load temps?

While playing games, temps can be between 80°c - 90°c.

I have 2 intake fans in the front of my case, and 1 exhaust fan above my cpu.

Have you tried reseating the cooler?

Yes, and nothing has changed.

Yes, and nothing has changed.

Huh, it might be due to lack of thermal paste.

Anyway, the RCX-Z1 isn't much better than the stock cooler.

A Hyper 101 would be better: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-cpu-cooler-rrh10122fkra
