Its like a semi-custom loop. I'm just debating which to go for. The dye is cheaper but the tube will last longer (hopefully)

I don't know much about those coolers, reviews seem decent. The issue with using a dye is that you don't know what affect it will have on the tubing etc

I should probably go for dye since i don't know how thick the tubes are

if it was me, i'd save a little money and just go custom. Once you have a loop you can expand on it as you like

Well ive already payed for it, and i would go custom butt they don't make blocks for my GPU. Plus my machine is pretty crappy for custom

Edit: The NZXT G10 fits on my GPU but you cant go full custom with it

You don't have to include the GPU and remember a CPU loop will be transferrable

But i still its been paid for and i can't resell it. At least not for what i would need to buy some of the custom parts

If i do go full custom I'm going FULL custom with a GPU in the loop, so if you know of a GPU block that will fit on my GPU i will gladly look into it. (Alpha-cool blocks wont work. I asked Alpha-cool). Even a way to use a NZXT G10 will make me happy

I had a problem similar to this with my Sapphire Vapor X 280X, I did some research and found an XSPC block which would fit with some modding. If I were you and you're interested I would get the components together to cool your CPU and leave radiator head room to add a gpu later. When you upgrade the GPU just get a ref model and grab the block at the same time

What kind of modding did you have to do?

There are a couple which fits like EK - vga supremacy nickel but it dosen't cool the VRM which is a big deal.

One thing to note I wouldn't recommend using that radiator in a custom loop since Raijintek uses aluminum radiators, to refill their units you need a mixed metal compatible fluid.

Is distilled water and antifreeze a mixed metal compatible fluid?

Yes that would work just be sure the antifreeze has a mild biocide built in place or to additionally add one if your going to refill the unit, I would not recommend to use it expanded though. As for VRM if a GPU already has a heatsink on it having some incidental airflow to help cool it is enough but if there are no heatsinks adding some heatsinks would be a good option.

Do you know of any hardcore heat sinks I can put on there? I don't want any puny pieces of metal on there. Or puny metal with a g10 to hide them with a EK supremacy block?

For GPU heatsinks they come in different sizes to fit the need from the VRAM to long ones for VRM, but only if your GPU doesn't have them or a cover plate. As for GPU cooling the G10 is only for asetek units, the EK supremacy is a CPU block not GPU block.

If your wanting a proper block getting a full cover block from EKWB is the best option but I would not use the Raijintek unit with it.

They don't sell full cover blocks for my card that I'm aware of. This is a gpu block, I should have said EK VGA supremacy. https://shop.ekwb.com/ek-vga supremacy. Could I bend part of a G10 to fit?. Also I wouldn't use the Raijintek in a loop if I did one

Ok for the VGA version, they added that recently it was only the thermosphere before, but yes that works on the card without a G10 bracket, it directly mounts and cools the GPU die without anything else needed, so adding extra heatsinks for the VRM and VRAM if they don't already have a plate is needed in that kind of setup.

Well the G10 would be for VRAM cooling

The G10 doesn't provide any kind of heatsinking in any way for the GPU, other than a fan, it would be better to add heatsinks to the places that count and direct an intake fan towards the GPU for some incidental airflow.
