Is the HD audio cable connected to the motherboard? You might need to download drivers to enable the front ports if they're plugged into the motherboard. Posted January 2, 2016 1. Sure its the audio jack, usually marked with green, if marked at all(not mic)? 2. HD Audio connector connected to the motherboard? 3. Any speakers connected to the backpanel on the motherboard? The driver Software could have disabled the frontpanel audio. 4. Any properly installed audio drivers at all?
