Hello. I don't know if this is the right place to ask but im gonna do it anyways. So today upgraded my internet I used to get about 10mb/s download and upload speed. Now i'm getting 70mb/s download speed and 95mb/s upload speed. I upgraded my internet because I wanted to get better ping in games but my ping didnt change. I'm still getting the same ping everywhere.

Do you guys know what's the problem?

Well, you ping and your internet speed are not necessairly connected.

At one point the bottleneck will no longer be your up and down speed, but it will be the speed of the equipment that handles your packages.

AlwaysFSX is spot on with what he said.

Better to see what your local network is using and use QoS if your router supports it to give gaming more of the available bandwidth.

And play on servers closer to you.

My daughter use to use all my bandwidth watching youtube while I was gaming, directly effecting my ping. 30 minutes after setting up QoS my ping became more stable at the expense of my daughter. :-p
