in every thread where someone asks a question comparing two nvidia cards : i.e 970 vs 980, instead of the fanboys giving the op an answer they just say "390" without considering asking what games op plays and if they need nvidia features like shadowplay..

and also they live in denial about the gtx 970 3.5gb.. it is not as bad as they make it out to be.. 

and whenever the 580 or 480 is mentioned.. that gif turns up even tho it is an overused joke. i have never seen some of these fanboys ask what games op plays and i have never seen them recommend an nvidia card even if it was better for what the OP needed..

People trying their hardest to defend FX are still much worse than ones who recommend AMG GPU's, AMD GPU's are at least competitive.

Yup, nothing you can do. 

 

Although, Nvidia is not always the best option. Sometimes a AMD 380 is the best option due to price to performance.

Yup, nothing you can do. 

 

Although, Nvidia is not always the best option. Sometimes a AMD 380 is the best option due to price to performance.

The thing is.... The R9 390 peforms better in most games....

not all tho, if the OP plays alot of fallout 4 then nvidia would be better because it cripples amd

He's the only one who recently returned a 970 for a 290X? And got about 10% better results. Fun times.

I see this thread lasting long...

 

Yes it's annoying when someone asks what's the best value EVGA 970 or something and you get 3 responses saying R9 390 without answering the question beforehand and then suggesting it. But you usually get an answer.

 

No you won't be able to do anything about it. The forum grows a lot, lots of younger people come on (as I suspect that's Linus' demographic based on how his videos go) and they tend to be more likely to post like that.

 

Creating a thread like this will just get people flaming each other.

and the people who say 380 is 15 percent faster,, only in some games, and when oced 960 beats it in some games..
