lubuntu being weired

Go to solution Solved by patrick3027,

You'll have more luck finding help on an Ubuntu forum than by posting on LinusTechTips IMHO.

And looks like something is wrong with that GPU/the drivers/the screen.

The command

glxinfo
will give you all available OpenGL information for the graphics processor, including its vendor name, if the drivers are correctly installed.

Other information on the hardware can be fetched from the

lspci
and
lshw
tools.

I have installed lubuntu onto the hard drive and this happens time to time

[see picture 1 attached to this post]

sometimes when browsing through mozilla firefox, the screen goes blank for a second or to and when the screen image comes back its like that

[see picture 2 attached to this post]

Why does this happen?

No, it doesn't auto download any drivers. It has basic generic drivers that it will be using at the moment. Go find the official Linux drivers for your GPU (good luck! Nah, I think Intel are okay for Linux) and install them. Hopefully that will fix your issue.
