950 - which model?

Hey guys,

because the case is not that big, I need a smal gpu and my friend settled on the 950. The 950 I have in the thread is AFAIK a reference model with the msi logo on it. Does anybody know how the temps of this card are? I do not find anything about this card because the gaming 2g is favored in all tests (obviously) but i can't use the GTX 950 Gaming 2G because of size. I need a small card + the ventelation in the case is not the best (that's why I'm concerned about the temps on the card with reference design), there's only one exhaust at the back.
While researching, I saw that the strix is kinda small. something wrong with that card?

Which model would you suggest?

unless you upgrade your PSU you won't be able to safely power a 950. Max that pre-built can do is a 750 Ti

i also want to put a new psu in it no worry about that (as i mentioned in the post, the original PSU hasn't even a 6Pin)

I think it will be fine, 950's barely run 100W IIRC.

950 needs a power connector which his PSU does NOT have.

so running with the msi 950 oc will be ok? no need for the larger and not that easy to fit bigger models?
