ok, @Hazy125 performance wise?

Kingston make high performance products Everything they make. Anything with the Hyper-x branding is the top of the line that Kingston make. However, it is RAM. It will perform exactly the same as any other kit running at that frequency with the same CAS latency

@Volbet ??? please

The average CL is usually around CL9 @1600MHz the faster the speed the higher the CL is usually the rule of thumb. So your RAM seems like it's just what you need

For games you don't need more than what you have. Everything faster is a waste of money for gaming.

my ram is rated on box at 1600mhz though = 800mhz in here... so it shouldnt have to be overclocked to run at 800mhz should it?

The DDR3 for the ram stands for Double Data Rate so it basically means 800mhz x 2.

1600Mhz CL9 ram would be good enough if you use this computer for gaming and if it is not an APU.

ok, why is it not good for an APU rig @mgsstar ???

Because of the way an APU works, faster RAM will provide a significant benefits. There is a 40fps difference between dirt 3@720p between a 1600mhz kit and a 2400mhz kit... Mgstar, why did you have to bring up APU's
