Avast in silent/gaming mode gets my vote.

I use AVG and I'm really happy with it. No pop-ups, and I does its job well.

Click on monthly results, then sort by value (easier to compare). Avast wins. Avira and AVG come in close 2nd and 3rd, but then you look at the Performance test and Avast blows them both away. It's ridiculously lightweight and it's the safest.

I've used AVG, Norton, MSE and Avast, and Avast and AVG are my two favorite. I use to use AVG for 2-3 years, then I switched to Avast! a year or so ago and am much happier with it.

Avast is great

Avira isn't a bad antivirus also. Its a good light AV because it doesn't have that much stuff as Avast does.

I use bitdefender right now but I have used avast and it seen to get the job done everytime.

I don't use AV. I even disabled MSE on my rig.
