GTA V Runs at 1 FPS

When I load GTA V into story, the game lags to 1 fps at minimum settings nothing ive tried works, any thoughts on whats wrong?

Go to Task Manager, find GTA5.exe and set priority to Above Normal or High. That fixed my low FPS issue a while back.

Do you have a potato for everything.

FX-8350 and GTX 960.

 

Not high-end, but no reason to have such low FPS on even maxed out GTA V.

There's a video on YouTube on how to stop stuttering and it increases fps by joker production.

A phenom with Gt 610 can run better than 1 fps

FX-8350 and GTX 960.

 

Not high-end, but no reason to have such low FPS on even maxed out GTA V.

With a program, GPU-Z, you can see your GPU usage, check this while playing the game and while not playing the game...

 

I suspect you might've gotten yourself a nice cryptomining piece of malware, using all of your GPU...
