Upgrading monitors PERFORMANCE DECREASE?

Im going to upgrade my old HANNSPREE XMS 1440x900 monitor to a BenQ GL2460HM 1920x1080 and the thing I would like to is it going to affect my performance very largely

CPU:AMD ATHLON 860K

GPU:XFX R9 380 4gb

R9 380 can do 1080p on medium to high settings.

yeah, you're going from ~1,300,000 to a bit over 2,000,000 pixels so I'd expect to take a noticeable hit

Compared to his performance now, he will be taking a hit. How do his specs even matter very much? How much of a hit is a bit hard to say, he should still run things quite well so nothing to worry about but you WILL see lower FPS.

860K and a 380 running at 1080P?  You'll be fine.  You can always overclock if your performance fails to meet your expectations.
