What can I get for this laptop?

I was planning to buy a new computer but I'm not sure what I can get for this laptop.

It was around 1400 euro's (~1550 USD) when I bought it 2 years ago.

Specs and other info:

 

msi ge70 2OE-012NL

2 years old, new battery

17,3 inch

windows 8

led lighted keyboard

3x usb 3.0 2x 2.0

1x hdmi, lan port, vga

DVD drive

 

i7-4700MQ

16GB RAM

120GB SSD

1TB HDD

GTX 765M

That seems like a rather low end GPU for what you paid

 

also, probably 60-70% of it's retail value if you're lucky, list it for a lot and see what people offer

Yes thats why I'm going to buy a new pc 

 

I hope I can sell it for 750~800 euro's

Laptop is still decent for gaming, selling it is being wasteful atm. When you factor in monitor, speakers and keyboard you will be at a loss when building a tower

I already have a monitor, keyboard and mouse. I was using my laptop as a pc.

Don't use 2 monitors with that GPU and it should be perfectly capable of running any game. If my 860M can get 45fps in Witcher 3, you should be getting at LEAST 30

yes it is perfectly capable of running any game but I also use it for video editing...

Use the i7? In a 800Eu desktop you will be stuck with an i5 and i5s are slower than mobile i7s

I don't think you'll get a lot more than 600 for it. Honestly because that is how the second hand market works. Plus its like 2 years old. Even then sell the thing. Invest a little more money into something better if you can live without a laptop.
