upgraded my pc now I cannot connect to the internet

I got my upgrades (cpu, gpu, mobo) today for xmas and everything went smoothly with the installation. The only problem is that now I cannot reconnect to the internet. It is not my internet connection that is the problem, It worked right before I turned off my pc and switched out the parts. What could be the problem? Did I connect something incorrectly or is it the network/server ?

How are you connecting?

Ethernet or wireless?

Install Ethernet driver from motherboard CD or WiFi adapter driver

You want to find the LAN/Ethernet drivers on the motherboard CD.

restart cablemodem if you're connected directly to it.

It is showing every driver on the CD is installed, including LAN. I've rebooted several times.

If you have another computer, you should try going to the motherboard manufacturers website and get a fresh driver (network driver), then transfer it to your PC via usb.

Now I have partial internet access. I can search anything but I cannot open the links without receiving "the webpage is not available"

just installed it and rebooted, still nothing

Hmm... that's really weird. What does it say in the bottom right corner on the internet icon? And what happens when you try to load a webpage?

try looking for drivers from your motherboard for network driver updates, or, try intel's website. Your network adapter (the one built into the motherboard) might be by intel and if so you can download the drivers from there website.

Look and see if others with the same motherboard are having this same problem, or try to restart your network driver on your computer and see if that helps.
