Corsair K70 RGB - RGB lights freeze, and software doesn't open.

Hello! Today I got the Corsair K70RGB, and I noticed that, while using it, after maybe 10-20-30 or so minutes, the RGB lights will stop moving, and the software wont open without closing it and reopening it. Is this just how the drivers are set up?
