This is hardware at my hands so I know that the Q6600 can handle better gpus but I have it so yeah

Thanks

I don't know about DOTA 2, but I know Starcraft 2 will be a little sluggish, though playable.

If you play starcraft at low settings (which you should anyway, if you're playing mutliplayer :P ) then you'll get decent performance.

Is it a gpu or a cpu problem?

Starcraft is a very cpu intensive game, so for SC, yes. dota i don't know anything about so I can't tell you anything

And if I oc my Q6600 can I get something above 60fps on low?

I think you will. Not entirely sure though.

I know first SC2 will be ok up till medium settings on 1080p. Dota should be good too with at least medium settings. Still, you could get fps drops when lot is happening.
