Does anyone know of you can turn off gore/most language/blood in Fallout 3 or 4 on PC? Of you can it's the only way I can really play either so and help is wanted. (Please say how you turn it off it you can (ex. help/options>game settings>gore) or a console command)

bDisableGore should be in the .ini file. Why though?

My parents don't like games with gore/blood/alot of language so im trying to help my chances of playing a really fun game (according to everyone i've talked to who has played it)

ok. The ini modification won't remove the bad language.

No need to swear...

you want to play a gory game without gore.. thats where your wrong. you can disable it in the .ini but i dont think you can disable swearing like @NeatSquidYT said... if your so limited you might as well go play a non violent game..

The way I see it is that gore is quite a bit worse than language so at least it might help my case.

I am a minor but I consider myself mature enough to play games like fallout and if I think it's really bad then I won't play it. (I'll probably use family sharing to play it so I don't spend money son something I can't play)

If you and/or your parents can't stand some guy on a forum saying "fuck", then you and/or your parents probably won't like hearing random raiders say things like "Don't fucking tell me to calm down! I'll calm the fuck down when I want to fucking calm down!" (actual line I've heard in the game).

The Fallout series is known for its... harshness, which it juxtaposes with an odd happiness/glee in the music and humor. It can be off-putting for some, and if anyone is sensitive enough to it that they feel the need to turn it off entirely, they really should just go play something else.

I mean, there's a perk in the game solely dedicated to increasing the chances that you'll see an enemy explode in a red mist filled with eyeballs and bones and brains...

"A picture is starting to form here... I wonder if it's accurate? Some pieces don't quite seem to fit. Or maybe I just don't like the way it looks."
