Posted December 21, 2015 So i have windows 10 on an old slow harddrive i feel like its about to die out it makes so much noise to. I went out and brought a wd green for secondary storage and will be buying like a 120gb ssd for windows and chrome. Is it possible for me to somehow move windows to my new ssd from the old harddrive or will i have to buy windows again. If so how? Also i had a harddrive with windows on it from old prebuilt system i then made a custom build for gaming and again brought windows for some stupid reason so i have windows twice on the same hdd. Is their anything i can do with this
Posted December 21, 2015 If you use the same motherboard again, yes. Record down the key you use for the windows by heading to computer properties. Then inside the SSD there is mirroring tool you can use(normally there). If not, head to your SSD developer's website to find it.
