Hd 7990 dead ?

Go to solution Solved by TheHiddenCreeper,

Thanks for all the help

My 7990 is confirmed dead

:(  :(  :(  :(  :(  :(  :(  :(  :(

well this is my reply to a previous thread that was not answered fully http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/506341-hd-7990-vga-led/

Both of my x99 and x58 boards either give me the vga led or 2 short beeps and 1 long one indicating of a vga failure. I have checked all my power connectors although i have been using a Cx750m for both test beds.

I have tried most things like resetting Cmos on both systems and my Hd 4000 series card works on both the x99 board and x58 board just fine.

So is my 7990 dead or is there a way to fix this problem........

Please help...... :)

Sorry its a bit long...

Don't blame AMD, it's tough shit, plenty of people have dying GPU's no matter what brand, my 7770 died... i don't blame AMD.
