How will AKG k612 pro sound with Pro-Ject Audio HEAD BOX MK2?

Will the amp alter the sound of the heaphones? ive heard the amp has poor bass and will that alter the bass of these headphones? i am really worried about that.. and is this amp any good? its been in my shed for a few years now, havent used it

Never heard of this amp. Based in the internet it looks like a piece of crap.

 

If you can't budget for an amp with these headphones ($70-100), then get something else that doesn't need an amp.

how about k612 pro's with fiio e10k? ive heard that will work well. i just didnt want to spend more money if i didnt need to

What? Why would you get a E10K? Ideally, don't buy anything. If you really want headphones, I gues go for the Hd 558 (NOT 598, which is overpriced).

Why not get a real amplifier if you're going to spend that kind of money.

 

I'd say just go for the 558. Cheaper.
